COL (Ret) Ang Yau Choon had over 30 years of experience in the Singapore Armed Forces, commanding Special Forces, army Brigade, as well as training institutions. These responsibilities required him to constantly develop and operationalise advanced operational doctrines, solutions, equipment, and systems to counter the ever evolving terrorist and security threats. They also enable him to build a good understanding of the Air Force and Navy. He is a graduate of the US Navy BUD/SEALs Course, as well as the US Marine Command and Staff College, and had trained and interacted with established Counter Terrorist elites and Special Forces around the world. His last position was a Defence Attaché in Thailand until December 2017.
